"I can tell that we are going to be friends"

Hi girlies! I approve of this plan to get the blog going again. First of all: I miss you all.
Second: updates... I'm done undergrad now? I finished last semester in August (all of us did because of the co-op schedule)... senior year was pretty busy. I worked at a consulting company for most of first semester, and then had class + Capstone (final design project, the Engineering equivalent of a fourth-year thesis) for the next two. I got my iron ring in July (there's me at the ceremony with my raaang), and finished exams at the end of August, and then convocated three weeks ago. I hated my school portraits (the one they put in the composite) and I wanted to get them re-done on that day, so instead of going to a studio Rebecca hired a photographer to come and do them on campus that afternoon, so some of those pictures are down there.

Wow this post is so narcissistic, I love it. And now, I'm taking a bit of a break and shopping too much and working at the school board tutoring at a few schools (again) and working on my grad school apps, which are due within the next few months and turning into more time and energy than I'd bargained for.

Now... what's going on with you ladies? Twins, are you coming home this Christmas at all?

steering towards failure...

I don't like driving. Plain and simple driving is stupid and driving instructors are really mean. AND driving lessons are way to expensive to be yelled at a lot. Anyways Im off to do a driving lesson in like 10 mins. Fun. I can't say I'm excited. I will update you all on how it went.. (Oh and my instructors keep saying I should practice in between lessons... if they are willing to give me a car sure thing I will practice.. but otherwise nice try.. its not like I can go to windsor to use my parents cars.)

Lame.

***update***
Emergency manouvers = not bad. Note to self do not run over pylones over. Especially when they have names. People may get upset despite them just being pylons. Really. Who names pylons?!

Anywho I don't have another lesson until Saturday, and I don't have class until 4, so I have time to relax and maybe make cookies. Oh and my class is with Kira :) yay! At least I won't be entirely bored in Environmental Politics and Governance.

well i cant really make my schedule appear here so im going to type it out and it will probably be very confusing. luckily tuesday/thursday and mon/wed/fri are basically the same so whatever.
Monday: 1130-1230 exercise nutrition, 1230-130 movement neuroscience, 230-330 olympic issues for modern times
Tuesday: 1130-130 sport in literature
wednesday = monday
thursday: 1130-1230 sport in lit
friday = monday
weeooooo excitement. second semester changes completely but i'm actually basically done at the same time every day as in first semester.
sooooo i have basically done a whole lot of nothing this summer. its been boring. and dramatic with the whole "lets be assholes and sign people to a year long lease and then sell the house 4 months in and also not notify our tenants about anything thats going on or how its progressing" funtimes that my landlords pulled. we now have a new landlord who im hoping is a hilarious asian lady (it is definitely an asian lady, that is not just wishful thinking.) and hopefully everything is all sorted. 2 of my roommates from before are gone because they graduated and we did get one new one but we're still looking for a fourth. that is basically all that has occurred. heaz i knew you would get addicted to arrested development, its kind of impossible not to. youre welcome for that.
peace out.

What have 12 legs, six eyes, three tails and can't see?

(three blind mice)

I was sitting home alone the other night (the one with the big storm), and I saw something scamper across the living room. I wondered if Buttons had some how escaped, but unfortunately it was a mouse (thank fully only one and not three). DSC00661I then spent the next half an hour trying to catch the mouse but he was a tricky little guy and kept hiding under things, until he ran for it and disappeared to I don’t know where.

At least he was kinda cute?

So I haven’t really seen any of you recently so I will update you with my life…

Kristen and Sarah my lovely roommates :)

DSC00556 This is the necklace I helped make for Kristen. This was after she luckily was home to call 911 when my hand exploded. She kinda saved my life.

<---- Blood. Everywhere. From the one cm hole in my hand.

Then there was a lovely month spent going to Toronto M-F. EVERY WEEK DAY. I didn’t get to spend much time doing anything fun. But I did spend a lot of time watching Ellen. DSC00602

<--- I spent a lot of time in here. Like an hour and a half every day.  They had REALLY ugly scrubs. But I wasn’t allowed to where my normal clothes so I put up with the gross coloured scrubs every day.

I also went to Niagara-on-the Lake. I think that was in May. Either way the weather wasn’t the greatest.  You can see a lovely view of the falls in the picture below (with Brandon and his family).DSC00609

We still had lots of fun, and drank lots of wine. I think we went to 32 different wineries. We should all plan a trip to go on a wine tour. It would be lots of fun!

Me and Brandon headed up to Ottawa for Canada Day.

summer 2011 252

We did not see the Royals. I didn’t really care. We did however go to the beach the next day. summer 2011 266

I haven’t done anything else really exciting this summer. I have worked quite a bit.. I’m looking forward to going back to school. I will be restarting third year but I’m ok with that.

fall2011

I’m going to be pretty busy as you can see by my schedule.

This post is getting far too long, there is an update from my life. It would be great for all of us to stay in touch more. I am not the best at keeping in touch but I will try.  Also Emsly thanks for getting me addicted to Arrested Development. I may be half way through Season Two. :)    Love you guys!

The Drought is Over!!!

So as I said on Facebook, I was feeling nostalgic and came on here...and discovered that Heather and Emily BOTH posted in 2011. We keep reaching out and missing, so I really do think it's time to start this up again. I will start by saying that I had a FABULOUS time in PEI, and thank you Steph for showing Tom and I around Charlottetown. It was so nice to see you after...three years. I think that's how long we decided it had been. I also forget how to add photos and make a new line and stuff (cuz "Enter" is too easy). So. This may be aesthetically unpleasing. Ok so summer was great, but now there are only TWO WEEKS left until I'm done with Campbell. I'm going to be sad not to see Campbell anymore because I mean, come on, look at her. Who doesn't want these chubby cheeks in their life???
I start school in three weeks, so I have one full week off (September 3-11) to hang out with my new roomies and get organized! I'm so excited about school, it's ridiculous. Please note that my schedule is clear and free of SWIMMING!!!!!!! YUSS!! I think that's probably the main reason why I'm so looking forward to this year - no swimming, ergo no obligation(s). I get to do anything I want, at any TIME I want (no more 9:30 bedtimes, so maybe I'll ACTUALLY get to talk to y'all). Admittedly, I think I'm starting to miss it. I get a little sad when I see my teammates gearing up for another year, but when I weigh the pros and cons, I know I'm better off without it.
So, full course load. First time in over two years, so I'm a bit anxious. I'm really looking forward to all of my courses though! My seminars are: Girls, Women and Popular Culture (badass) and Staging Politics (not sure, but I LOVE the prof). The other three courses are: Literary Theory (ew), Writers of the Middle Ages (not sure), and Canadian Women Writers (hopefully also badass). Five courses this term, one (online) next term and then I'm fucking DONE YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!
How about you and you and you????

Hello my lovelys

Hello. I basically want to say that i love and miss you all. We should really keep in touch love--- heaz.

holla y'all.

I've decided everyone needs to start blogging on here again. It was easier to keep in touch. That is all. -heaz
