Well, well....

So now I'm here, all moved in. And today I saw how ridiculously close this university is to the lake. Of course I haven't yet wandered farther than the little corner in which I eat and live, but it's still nice. So is my roommate. She (Shi) actually is from Singapore, and her family was here to help her move in. Purdy cool stuff, they all seemed really nice. Uh yeah. so anyways, me and Heaz were posting random wiki things because, well, it was early and we had nothing to do. Also Em, youre link didnt work, but it probably will if you make a hyperlink (call it "Schedule" or something like that) and then link it to the webpage. EasyPeasy. Im thinking maybe I should be a bit social and get to know some of the people in my floor, even though we are all going to dinner together in a bit anyways. Hope all of you guys are having fun. I hope I will be soon too. (Not that I'm not having fun, its just that there really isnt much to do right now.)

Things I've Learned Today

1. After four days of constant Indian people and Indian food, the thought of either makes you a little sick. 2. The twins like to post useless Wikipedia articles. 3. I'm late to EVERY party. Why am I the last person to post?! In other news, Heaz and Amy, I passed by Guelph and the Loo and thought of you. Steph, I didn't pass Kingston but I thought of you anyways. Em, I passed London but I was watching Goal! 2 so I forgot to think of you. But after that I saw the part with a shirtless Iker in a pool, and I thought of you then, in the least-creepy way possible. This is an outrageously attractive picture of me at a hugely FOB restaurant in Toronto. Thought you might love it.

idea

i think we should all post our class schedules on here so that i always know where you guys are supposed to be. also we need to figure out what to change the format of that video to so we can post it on here as well. k so im trying to post the link for my schedule, can someone let me know if it works or not?

How Eggcellent!

So this morning, while waiting for departure because of clouds hugging us (and the ground), me and Heaz decided make us some good cooking, aka scrambled eggs on toast. yummy. When we cracked open the first egg, surprise surprise............it was twins!!! And so was the second, and third, and fourth and fifth, and sixth. So now I am just assuming that the whole box is like that, but of course I wont be around to find out unfortunately. And well, then we were looking it up on Wikipedia (duh, where else?). This is what I found.....

Some hens will lay double-yolked eggs as the result of unsynchronized production cycles. Although heredity causes some hens to have a higher propensity to lay double-yolked eggs, these occur more frequently as occasional abnormalities in young hens beginning to lay. Usually a double-yolked egg will be longer and thinner than an ordinary single-yolk egg. Double-yolked eggs occur rarely, only leading to observed successful hatchings under human intervention, as the unborn chickens would otherwise fight each other and die.

Aren't you guys glad that me and unborn Heaz didn't fight each other in the womb? Otherwise, who knows what would have happened......

stupid fog...

ok so I decided that I should complain, though its really Steph who should be complaining about being up to early, any ways its almost 6am and I've been awake almost 2 hours (if you assume I actually slept last night) and we can't leave because of the stupid fog.. ridiculous amounts of fog that is kind of dangerous going down the 401!! So you might be wondering what fog is exactly well the definition of fog according to Wikipedia is a cloud that is touching the ground!

"Fog is a cloud in contact with the ground. Stratus clouds are usually the only clouds that touch the ground. Fog differs from other clouds only in that fog touches the surface of the Earth. The same cloud that is not fog on lower ground may be fog where it contacts higher ground such as hilltops or mountain ridges. Fog is distinct from mist only in its density. Fog is defined as cloud which reduces visibility to less than 1 km, whereas mist is that which reduces visibility to less than 2 km. "

So basically I like fog (because clouds are kind of cool and I think it would be awesome to have a jar of cloud (not fog) because even though it would probably just look like air it would still be pretty cool.) but today I hate fog because if I had known it was going to be foggy and we couldn't drive anywhere I wouldn't have gotten up so early!
