Herm

So. This is winter. Or whatever you can call it. Exams. Studying. My life consists of getting up, eating, going to the library, getting lunch, going back to the library, get dinner, go to the library and then maybe go to the pool and go to sleep. Repeat cycle. Wrote my first exam today. It was ok. Psych. Hopefully it went ok, seeing as its worth 50% of my mark. Joyous wonderful. Last weekend Katy came down from Ottawa and spent the weekend with me. It was cool, and we had lots of fun. Its nice to have a change of people once in a while. From here anyways. We also did secret santa on monday with my floor. I had my friend Hayley, so I made her an Engineer Survival Kit which she loved. What did I get? Nothing. Neither did my friend. Go figure. Those who put the most into things get the least out. People shouldn't participate in SS if they arent going to buy their person a gift. Lame. As for my plans for my Bday. I'm going to eat breakky alone, cause everyone sleeps all the time. (especially my roomie, dont get me started on that one) and then give blood and then study and maybe in the evening go out with friends, if they aren't too busy studying. As for exams, I have 3 left: Bio - 8th
Chem -12th
Health - 15th
Not looking forward to chem or bio, but Health should be pretty easy.

Some Stuff.

  1. November 25th - Hawksley Workman Concert in Lonon (STUNNING!)
  2. November 28th - Hawksley Workman Concert in Toronto (ON FIRE!)
  3. December 1st - Kitchener City Council Meeting (all ROW / WLU swimmers filled the chamber to discuss the pool closure)
  4. December 1st - McMullan's after the meeting (Keith B.: "I'm going to drown my sorrows in ale.")
  5. December 2nd - Meeting w/ Max Blouw (President of WLU)

The pool is closing December 31st for sure. No hope of extending the deadling 45 more days to finish our season. We will be training at Waterloo and in Guelph. In other news, two more goddamn weeks of this hell and I can sleep for three days straight at home. Oh, also, the p-rents get to meet Tom on December 17th (they're picking me up / we're all going for dinner). Good times. Exam Schedule:

  1. Dec. 4 - Developmental Psych @ 9:00am
  2. Dec. 6 - English and Lit Tradition I @ 2:00pm
  3. Dec. 8 - Reading Culture Paper Due
  4. Dec. 12 - Children's Literature @ 9:00am
  5. Dec. 17 - Intro to Cognitive Psych @ 2:00pm

Also good times. At least they're spread out, but I just can't wait to be done.
